Hawa means Wind in Arabic. We haven't managed to source a translation from Turkish yet but have a sneaking suspicion it may mean the same thing…

Ethically sourced.

Dimensions: Approx. 42cm long (though each piece varies slightly).

Made in Turkey.

Made by a family of women in Anatolia, Turkey, these silk lace necklaces draw on traditional lace making methods. Many will recognise the style from the unique scarves worn by the women of Anatolia.

These pieces are made in collaboration with Karawan Authentic a French company committed to ethically sourcing handicrafts from around the world.
