Item Story
We particularly love this selection of PVC pieces designed by Lebanese designer Peggy Raphael Dabar. Lebanon is constantly changing and many of the beautiful old buildings from which she draws inspiration are being replaced by modern apartment buildings. Her designs are a reminder of the beautiful heritage of this spectacular, complicated Mediterranean country.
The floor of Mediterranean residences of the 1930s and 1940s were covered with ceramic tiles of various patterns. These terrazo were unrivaled for their broad range of colours, arabesques and graphics. Put together, they created a gigantic picture, thus their nickname sejjadeh or carpet.
Care Instructions:
These items are Waterproof, Heat-resistant & Shatterproof.
Washable with soap and water. Soak in hot water to restore shape.
