Item Summary

Set of 8 decorative Painted Letterbox Magnets. Each magnet is handpainted, inspired by the thousands of unique old letterboxes dotted around Hong Kong.

Dimensions: Each letterbox varies in size but all are approx. 4cm x 2.5cm.

Made in China.

Item Story

Metal letterboxes are scattered around doorways and hallways in the older buildings of Hong Kong and have come to symbolise the good old days.

Many of the letterboxes have been personalised by their owners with unique patterns, colours and symbols, such as the double circle motif that is a sign of wealth. These have been recreated in this unique set, produced by Goods of Desire (G.O.D), an up and coming design house in the territory.
